Removal and installation the air conditioning fan and its control unit (Audi A4 B7)

1. Remove the glove box (see Chapter 11).

2. Disconnect the connector (And in the illustration), remove the lower section of the right A-pillar trim and cut the wiring ties.



3. Remove the screws (1 in the illustration), pull the air conditioning system housing down slightly and carefully bend the floor covering back.



4. Move the sound deadening mat down to access the rear screw (With in the illustration). Remove the screws (C), move the soundproofing mat to the side and remove the fan from the air conditioning system housing together with the control unit.

Note: The control unit and fan are not separated from each other.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of dismantling the components.
