- A plastic wedge, such as HAZET 1965-20, is recommended for removing plastic facings and trims.
- Clamps that are damaged during the removal of the covers must always be replaced.
- Seats, seat belts and airbags are important safety features in a car. As a precaution, only carry out the work described here. More complex work must be performed at the service station.

To prevent airbag deployment, turn off the ignition before disconnecting the airbag system cables and then disconnect the negative cable first (-), and then the positive cables (+) battery. In addition, for safety reasons, it is necessary to insulate the negative terminal of the battery.
