Removal



1. Using a strong tug, release the seat (arrow A) from the holders (1), lift it up and pull it back (arrow B in the accompanying illustration).

2. Remove the side airbag connector from the slot at the rear wall of the rear seat cushion and remove the seat.

Installation



1. Place the seat in place and insert the side airbag connector into the slot in the rear seat cushion.

2. Move the seat back, press it into the holders (1) from the front and fix it.

Caution: Be careful not to damage the holders.

1. Fold the rear seat back forward.

2. Pry up and remove the cover from the back (3) (arrow on the accompanying illustration). Loosen the screw (1) and remove the safety clamp (2).

3. Lift the backrest (5) from the support (4) and remove it from the side fastening element (6). Put the bushing (7) back on, if necessary.



4. Remove the cover (2) from the armrest (1) in the direction of the arrow.

Installation



1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Rear seat back, fixed



Removal



Caution: When disconnecting the air bag system cables, be sure to observe air bag safety precautions, refer to Section General information and safety precautions.


1. Remove the rear seat.

2. Remove the headrests from the seatbacks.

3. Remove the headrest guides from the backrests. To do this, insert a small screwdriver diagonally through the hole near the guide, press the screwdriver inward, release the stopper and remove the guide from the backrest.

4. If necessary, remove the ski bag frame from the backrest.

5. Models with side airbag: To prevent the head airbag from deploying, turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) and then the positive battery cables. For instructions, see Section Replacing the battery.

6. Models with side airbag: Disconnect the airbag connector.

7. Remove the backrest (1) upwards from the clamps (2) of the fasteners (3).

Installation



1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Caution: There must be no one in the vehicle when connecting the battery.


2. Remove the insulating tape from the negative battery terminal, connect the positive (+) cable first and then the negative (-) cable to the battery.

Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.


Rear seat side cushion



Removal



Caution: When disconnecting the air bag system cables, be sure to observe air bag safety precautions, refer to Section General information and safety precautions.


1. To prevent the head airbag from deploying, turn off the ignition and disconnect first the negative (-) and then the positive battery cables

2. Remove the rear seat.

3. Remove the screw (6).

4. Models with side airbag: Press the locking bar and disconnect the airbag connector.



5. Unscrew the nut (4), unscrew the anchor bolt (5) and remove the side cushion (1). (2) - disc washer, (3) - washer.

Installation



1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. In this case, adjust the anchor bolt and tighten the nut to the torque 55Nm. Tighten the screw (6) to the torque 10Nm.

Caution: There must be no one in the vehicle when connecting the battery.


2. Models with side airbag: Remove the insulation tape from the negative battery terminal, connect the positive (+) cable first, then the negative (-) cable to the battery.

Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.


3. If after turning on the ignition the airbag indicator on the dashboard does not go out, it is necessary to read the information from the fault memory at the service station.
