Safe parking system (Audi A4 B6)

It is better to leave work on the safe parking system to a workshop. If you decide to work on your own, you will have to perform the usual operations that are performed when replacing electrical units and parts: disconnect the plug connections, loosen the screws and remove the corresponding part. We are talking about the following parts: control unit J446 (trunk), warning buzzers H22 (on the instrument panel bracket in the driver's footwell) and H15 (on the right under the shelf near the rear window), four sensors in the front and rear bumpers (distributed symmetrically along the entire length of the bumper), and also the push button E226 on the bar with switches on the center console.

The figure shows schematically all the parts of the parking safety system. The push button, sensors and warning buzzers are only available in cars with an eight-channel system.
