If the turn signal fails, then it is simply impossible to continue driving. Other road users, after all, must know whether you will turn or not, especially at night or in heavy traffic. If the turn signal does not function due to a failure of the flasher relay, then to get out of this situation, you can use the following method:
1. The relay-breaker is located in the hazard warning light switch, in the panel with switches above the center console. Pull out the switch together with the attached wire and connector (first, remove the plug using a special tool).
2. Remove the connector. To short-circuit the relay, you need to install a jumper between the corresponding terminals. To do this, insert a short piece of wire or a paper clip into the connector panel from behind.
3. Insulate the jumper wire, for example with electrical tape.
4. Now when you press the turn signal lever, the turn signal lights on the corresponding side should be constantly lit. The relay operation can be simulated by using the lever, switching the turn signal lights on and off.
