High beam incandescent lamp (Audi A4 B6)

1. To remove the lamp, perform all the work steps up to and including step 5, as when replacing the parking light bulb. Use the same drawings as your guide.



2. Then, in the case of a halogen headlight, disconnect connector 3 on the high beam bulb. Remove spring wire clip 2 from the groove and remove bulb 1 from the housing.

3. In the case of a headlight with a gas discharge lamp, proceed in the same way: disconnect the plug connection 3 on the high beam lamp. Remove the spring wire clip 2 from the groove and remove the incandescent lamp 1 from the housing.



4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When inserting a new lamp into the socket, do not touch the bulb with bare hands.

5. Secure the bulb with the spring clip.

6. For halogen headlight, stop the engine to adjust the headlight range.

7. Connect the connector.

8. Secure the housing cover with the spring clip.
