Low beam lamp and/or fog lamp (Audi A8 D2)

You can replace the lamps without removing them headlights.

Open the hood.

Pull back the plastic cover headlights and take it off.

Disconnect electrical connector 1 (Fig. 18–36) from the low beam lamp or 2 from the fog lamp.

Compress the spring clips holding the lamp and move the clips to the side. Remove the lamp from headlights.

When installing the lamp, do not touch its bulb with your hands.

Install the new bulb into the holder.

Install the holder with the bulb into the headlight and secure the bulb with the spring clip, snapping it into place by the retainer.

Connect the electrical connector to the lamp.

Install the rear plastic cover headlights.

Check and adjust headlights if necessary.
