15. Remove the glove box from the front panel as described in chapter 11.
16. On later models, remove the series resistor/bimetal fuse assembly as described below.
17. Disconnect the motor wiring connector from the series resistor/bimetal fuse block on the side of the motor housing (late models) (Fig. 9.17).
18. On early models, release the latch, rotate the motor assembly counterclockwise and remove it from the housing.
19. On later models, grasp the mounting plate and slide it down to release the motor from the housing. Remove the mounting screws and lift the motor off the mounting plate (fig. 9.19, a-g).
