Removal
30. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.
31. As described in the chapters 11 and 12, do the following:
- a) Remove the glove box from the front panel.
- b) Remove the passenger airbag mounting bracket.
32. Working under the passenger side fascia, disconnect the wiring connector from the rear of the blower motor assembly.
33. Remove the four screws, rotate the motor slightly and lift it out of the heater/evaporator housing. On 1997 and later models, the motor can be removed from the base by disconnecting the wiring connectors and releasing the latches.
Installation
34. Installation - reverse procedure.
