Self-help with injection (Audi A4 B5)

Unfortunately, there is little you can do on your own in the injection system, since in-depth checks require good knowledge of the material and, above all, measuring and testing equipment. To carry out countless measurements, you need special measuring leads and test connectors so as not to damage the contacts. Therefore, if any defect appears, it is recommended to proceed as follows:

Execution order

1. If the Audi A4 refuses to work, first check fuses No.15, 28, 29, 32 and 34.

2. Then check if the ignition is OK.

3. The next step is to check the fuel supply.

4. Perform a visual inspection of all injection system components.

5. If the source of the fault was not found in this way, study the section Help with malfunctions at the end of the chapter and interrogate the computer, check the suspicious node according to the instructions.
