Your help
|
| A. Cold engine does not start or starts poorly | 1. Defective fuse 15, 28, 29, 32 or 34
2. Power supply relay defective 3. The fuel pump does not supply fuel or supplies an insufficient amount 4. The fuel pressure regulator is faulty 5. Coolant temperature sensor is faulty 6. Throttle control unit is faulty 7. The control unit is faulty 8. Fault in the wires between the Hall sensor and the control unit 9. Additional air enters the engine |
Replace
|
| IN. The warmed up engine does not start or starts poorly | 1. The vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator is faulty
2. See A 2–9 3. Injection valves are leaky |
Check the hose
Check the valves |
| WITH. The engine starts but stalls again | 1. See A 6
2. The throttle control unit is not adapted (only after replacement unit or dismantling and assembly) 3. See B 1 4. The lambda probe is faulty |
Check the valve
Perform basic installation in the workshop Check the operation, replace if necessary |
| D. Cold engine shakes at idle | 1. See A 2 and A 5
2. See C 2 |
|
| E. Warm engine shakes at idle | 1. See A 6
2. See C 2 |
|
| F. Idle speed drops at full turning the steering wheel using a servo drive | 1. See A 6
2. See C 2 |
|
| G. The engine runs intermittently | 1. The fuel filter is clogged
2. See A 3 3. See B 3 4. See p. 5 |
Replace the filter |
| N. Fluctuations in engine speed at 2000–3000 rpm. | See A 7 | |
| I. The engine runs unevenly and intermittently | See A 3 | |
| J. Insufficient engine power | 1. See A 3, 6 and 9
2. The throttle valve does not move to the full throttle position |
Adjust the throttle cable |
| TO. The engine backfires into the intake manifold | See A 4 |
