Note: Checking and adjusting the idle speed, CO content and ignition timing should be done together. The lambda probe remains connected.
Check the closed state of the idle contacts of the throttle position sensor. To do this, alternately insert and remove the plug of the sensor of the extreme rooms of the throttle valve. Due to this, the ignition timing, the number of idle revolutions and the averaging coefficient should change.
Start the engine and let it idle.
Check the averaging factor:
- acceptable limits 26-30%;
- nominal: 29±1%.
If necessary, change the averaging factor with the idle speed adjustment screw "A". To do this, screw the screw in completely, and then back it out until the desired value is reached.
To check, check the idle speed. It should be: 800-900 rpm.
Note: If the required averaging factor cannot be achieved with the idle speed adjusting screw, find the cause in the fault table and eliminate it.
