Note: Idle speed, CO content and ignition timing must be checked together. Only CO content and ignition timing are subject to adjustment. The lambda probe remains connected during the check.
Start the engine and let it idle. The speed should be set to 780-900 rpm.
Check the ignition timing and adjust if necessary.
The CO content should be 0.2-1.2% of the volume. If the CO content value is outside the permissible range, it should be set as described below:
Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose at the cylinder head.
Connect the ammeter using the measuring wire to the electro-hydraulic regulator "1".
Turn on the ignition. The control current must have a positive value. Otherwise, swap the cables.
Start the engine and let it idle.
Set the control current using the CO "2" adjustment screw to 0-5 mA.
