Removal and installation the rear bumper (Audi 80 B3)

Note: Removal and installation is the same as for the front bumper.


1 - guide piece

1 - guide piece
Press the ends of the bumper down -arrow C- and remove them from the guides outward.

2 - Phillips head screw

3 - nuts, 23 Nm

4 - lining washer

5 - gasket

6 - bracket

7 - spacer washer

8 - bumper
When removing, pull the end of the bumper away from the body. When installing, insert the bumper from below into the 4 latches.

Please note: with 9.88 the bumper is not secured on the side.


The gap between the bumper and the body on the side of the trunk for AUDI 80/Coupe: 9+1 mm along the entire length. AUDI 90 8+1 mm.

Only on the right side

10 - polymer nut

12 - 4 fastening latches


Please note: If the self-adhesive seal of the rear right bumper is replaced, observe the dimensions, the distance to the rear mounting bolts of the guide element is 280 mm.
