Removal the oil pump
The oil pump can be removed directly from the vehicle.
Drain the oil from the engine crankcase.
Remove the oil pan.
Loosen the bolts securing the oil pump to the cylinder block.
Remove the oil pump.
Installing an oil pump
Install the oil pump onto the cylinder block so that the drive lug engages correctly with the drive shaft.
Tighten the bolts securing the oil pump to the cylinder block.
Fill the lubrication system with engine oil.
