Warning! The ESP sensor unit is sensitive to strong vibration and impact. Strong vibration and impact may damage the ESP sensor unit. If the ESP sensor unit falls, its proper functioning will be impossible and reinstallation of such a unit is prohibited.
On all models of the car, the ESP sensor unit "G419" is installed under the left seat. The ESP sensor unit "G419" is located under the left front seat. The arrow on the ESP sensor unit "G419" points in the direction of travel.
Remove the left seat. Bend back the fastening tab of the mat. On cars where the mat tab is not bent back, lift the tab with a knife. Remove the footwell air duct. Disconnect the plug connector "2". Unscrew the sensor unit fastening nuts. Remove the ESP sensor unit "G419" "1" in an upward direction.

Installation
The arrow on the sensor unit points in the direction of travel. Insert the ESP sensor unit "G419-1" into the mounts from above. When installing the ESP sensor "G419", ensure that it fits correctly and freely on the mount. Tighten the sensor unit mounting nuts. Connect the plug connector "2". Install the footwell air duct. Secure the mat with the tongue. Install the left seat. After replacing the ESP sensor unit "G419", it is necessary to perform a basic setting (calibration) the following sensors: lateral acceleration sensor "G200"; longitudinal acceleration sensor "G251" For this, use the tester "VAS 5051B" or "VAS 5052".

Select the function on the display: Calibration of the lateral acceleration sensor "G200"; Calibration of the longitudinal acceleration sensor "G251"
Conduct a test of the chassis and the entire ESP system.
