2. Unscrew the screw plug B of the filling hole, which is located on the gearbox housing in front of the left axle shaft (see illustration). The plug can be covered with a heat shield above the drive shaft. In this case, the shield must be removed.
5.2. Unscrew the screw plug B of the filler hole with a socket wrench
3. Use your own 90' bent wire pin and check the gearbox oil level. At the same time, hold the pin in the hole strictly horizontally, and its bent end should be turned down.
4. Remove the pin from the hole and measure the oil level on the pin. The level is normal if it is 9±1 mm below the filling hole.
Attention! If during the check it turns out that there is little fluid in the gearbox, then the gearbox should be inspected for leaks and oil leakage. If necessary, contact a workshop to repair the box.
5. Add, if required, transmission fluid to the gearbox. Do not overfill the gearbox with transmission fluid.
6. Screw the screw plug into the filler hole and tighten it to 40 Nm.
