EPC (Electronic Power Control) - signal lamp of the diesel engine control unit. When this symbol lights up on the instrument panel with the engine running, there is a malfunction in the fuel system. In this case, the engine will not operate at full power. It is recommended to contact a workshop immediately.

preheating indicator light. The light comes on when the ignition is turned on in vehicles with a diesel engine and goes out after the glow plugs have warmed up the cylinder chambers. The preheating light stays on longer when starting a cold engine.

When preheating and starting the engine, do not turn on devices that consume a lot of electricity to avoid overloading the battery. Start the engine immediately after preheating is complete.

If the light does not go out, this means there is a fault in the preheating system. To find out the reasons and fix the fault, contact the workshop.

trailer direction indicator lights.

parking light indicator lamp.

signal light of the ride height regulator. The light comes on when the ignition is turned on and goes out a few seconds after the engine starts. If the light flashes after the engine starts, this indicates that the rear of the car is lowered (for example, after a long period of inactivity). Once a certain ground clearance is set, the light will go out immediately. Flashing of the light after starting the engine may also indicate that the ground clearance is too high. If the indicator light is constantly on, this indicates a malfunction of the system; you need to contact a specialized workshop.

electronic Stability Program (ESP) indicator light. The light comes on when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the system has been checked for operability. The light flashes while driving when the ESP is operating. If the light comes on continuously, this indicates a malfunction of the ESP or ABS system.

immobilizer warning light.

high beam indicator light.

turn signal lights. The turn signal light flashes synchronously with the turn signal. If one of the indicators is faulty, the light flashes twice as fast.

engine control unit indicator light. If this light comes on, it indicates a malfunction of the engine control unit. You should immediately contact a specialized workshop.

airbag warning light. The light comes on when the ignition is turned on and goes out a few seconds after the engine starts. If the front passenger airbag is disabled, then when the ignition is turned on, the light first lights up for about 4 seconds, then flashes for 15 seconds and goes out. If when the ignition is turned on, the light does not come on or comes on when the engine is running, this indicates a malfunction of the airbag system. In this case, you should contact a specialized workshop.

ABS warning light. The light comes on briefly when the ignition is on, confirming that the system is working. If it remains on or comes on while driving, this indicates a malfunction. It is recommended to contact a specialized workshop. If the ABS anti-lock system fails, the braking system functions as a braking system for vehicles without ABS.

The ABS system operates in conjunction with the EDS electronic differential lock system. When the ABS is switched off, the EDS system is also switched off.

parking brake indicator light.

This light indicates the position of the parking brake lever. When the parking brake is applied, the light comes on and goes out when the parking brake is released.

battery charge indicator light. The light comes on when the ignition is on and goes out after the engine starts. If the light comes on while driving, it indicates a low battery charge. It is necessary to disconnect all current consumers except for the most necessary ones. The reasons for the lack of charging may be a broken wire, loose terminals on the battery poles, a broken or loosened alternator belt, or alternator failure. Driving with a loose alternator belt or without it is not allowed.

seat belt reminder light. The light comes on for a few seconds after the ignition is turned on to remind you to fasten your seat belts.

door/trunk open warning light Brake system warning light. The light flashes when the brake fluid level is low or the ABS is faulty. The brake fluid level must be checked and topped up.

coolant temperature/level indicator light. If the light comes on while the engine is running, it indicates that the engine is overheating or the coolant level has dropped below the specified value. In this case, stop the engine, turn off the engine, check the coolant level and, if necessary, top up the coolant.

engine oil pressure indicator light. If the light is flashing, you should stop, turn off the engine and check the engine oil level. If necessary, add engine oil. If the engine oil level is normal, you should contact a specialized workshop. It is not recommended to start the engine.

Reset button/control button

The control button is designed to perform the following actions:

  • control of symbol indication;
  • displaying recommendations (messages) for the driver.

A short press on the control button with the ignition on will call up all warning symbols on the display in sequence. The system operation can be checked with the engine off or running at a speed of no more than 5 km/h.

If there is a first-degree fault, control of the symbol indication is not possible.

Displaying recommendations (messages) for the driver

When one of the first priority level symbols appears on the display, recommendations can be displayed as assistance to the driver. For example, "MOTOR ABSTELLEN, OLSTAND PRUFEN" (Turn off the engine and check the engine oil level).

To display the message, press the control button. After 5 seconds of releasing the button, the display of the message text stops.
