Removal
1. On manual transmission models, remove the transmission and clutch.
2. On models with automatic transmission, remove the transmission.

Examination
1. Check the flywheel for wear and damage. If any is found, contact a specialist.

2. If you are installing a new flywheel, it only has a mark for setting piston N1 to TDC. You will need to put a mark on it to set the ignition timing angle (a = 36.5 mm).
3. Inspect the crankshaft needle bearing.
Installation
Intermediate washer (1) and gasket (2) of the drive disk of the automatic transmission

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Measure the distance between the rear surface of the cylinder block and the surface of the drive disk that is connected to the torque converter (21.3–22.9 mm).
