The pushers are automatically adjusted and require no maintenance.
To check the operation of the tappets, warm up the engine, turn it off and remove the camshaft cover.
Turn the crankshaft so that the first cam lobe of the camshaft of cylinder N1 is pointing upward.
Press the tappet and measure its stroke. If the tappet stroke before the valve begins to open is greater than 0.1 mm, the tappet must be replaced.
