Warning: Cruise Control should not be used in heavy traffic and poor road conditions (e.g. ice, hydroplaning hazard, gravel discharge).
At speeds over 40 km/h and the system is on, do not shift into neutral gear without depressing the clutch pedal! Otherwise, a sharp increase in engine speed is possible, which in certain circumstances is fraught with its breakdown!
To use the system, slider A and button B on the turn and dipped beam switch are used.
Inclusion
The system is turned on by moving the slider A to the EIN position.
Speed Programming
When the desired speed is reached, press and release button B (FIA). The set speed is maintained.
The speed can be increased beyond the programmed value by pressing the accelerator pedal. When the pedal is released, the system will adjust the speed back to the previously programmed speed. This does not apply if the programmed speed is exceeded by more than 10 km/h for more than 5 minutes. In this case, reprogram the speed.
Change of speed
Speed reduction
The set speed can be reduced by pressing button B. Each short press of the button reduces the speed by 1.5 km/h. By holding the button down, the speed will decrease automatically. When the button is released, the current speed is programmed.
When the button is released while the vehicle is moving at a speed of less than 40 km/h, the memory memory is reset. In this case, after reaching a speed of over 40 km/h, reprogram the speed with button B.
Increase in speed
The set speed can be increased by bringing engine A to AUFN without depressing the accelerator pedal.
Each short press of the button increases the speed by 1.5 km/h. Keeping the button pressed increases the speed automatically. When released, the current speed is programmed.
Temporary shutdown of the system
Temporary deactivation of the system occurs when the brake or clutch pedal is pressed or when the engine A is moved to the AUS position (without fixation). The currently programmed speed is stored in memory.
For playback (AUFN) previously programmed speed, move engine A to the leftmost position by releasing the brake or clutch pedal.
If the speed is not programmed during temporary shutdown, then the new speed is set by switch A in the following order:
On vehicles with a petrol engine, briefly move switch A to the extreme left, then move it again to the left and hold until the desired speed is reached.
On vehicles with a diesel engine, it is enough to press switch A to the left as far as it will go and hold it until the desired speed is reached. When the switch is released, the speed is stored.
Warning: Play the programmed speed only if it is not too high for actual driving conditions.
Complete system shutdown
Complete shutdown of the system is carried out by shifting switch A all the way to the right (fixed position AUS) or, when the vehicle is stationary, by switching off the ignition.
