With this system – within the limits of the engine power – it is possible to maintain any set speed starting from approximately 40 km/h. This eliminates the need to keep your foot on the accelerator pedal, which is particularly convenient on long journeys.

Warning: The cruise control system must not be used in heavy traffic conditions or in poor road conditions (for example, ice, danger of aquaplaning, gravel throw).

At speeds over 40 km/h and with the system on, do not switch to neutral without depressing the clutch pedal! Otherwise, a sharp increase in engine speed is possible, which in certain circumstances can lead to engine failure!

At speeds over 40 km/h and with the system on, do not switch to neutral without depressing the…

The system is operated using the A slider and the B button on the turn signal and low beam switch.

Turning on

The system is activated by moving the A engine to the EIN position.

Speed programming

When the desired speed is reached, press and release button B (FIA). The set speed is maintained.

The speed can be increased beyond the programmed value by pressing the accelerator pedal. After releasing the pedal, the system will adjust the speed back to the previously programmed value. This does not apply to cases where the programmed speed is exceeded by more than 10 km/h for more than 5 minutes. In this case, reprogram the speed.

Change speed

Decrease speed

The set speed can be reduced by pressing button B. Each short press of the button reduces the speed by 1.5 km/h. If you hold the button down, the speed is reduced automatically. Releasing the button sets the current speed.

When you release the button of a vehicle moving at a speed of less than 40 km/h, the memory of the memory device is reset. In this case, after reaching a speed of over 40 km/h, reprogram the speed with button B.

Increase speed

The set speed can be increased by moving the engine A to the AUFN position without pressing the accelerator pedal.

Each short press of the button increases the speed by 1.5 km/h. Holding the button down increases the speed automatically. Releasing it programs the current speed.

Temporary system shutdown

The system is temporarily disabled when the brake or clutch pedal is pressed or when the engine A is moved to the AUS position (without fixation). The speed programmed at this point is saved in memory.

To reproduce (AUFN) a previously programmed speed, move the A slider to the extreme left position, releasing the brake or clutch pedal.

If the speed is not programmed during temporary shutdown, the new speed is set by switch A in the following order:

On vehicles with a petrol engine, briefly move switch A to the extreme left position, then move it to the left again and hold it until the desired speed is reached.

On diesel-powered vehicles, simply press switch A to the left until it stops and hold it until the desired speed is reached. When the switch is released, the speed is memorized.

Warning: Only play the programmed speed if it is not too high for the actual driving conditions.

Complete system shutdown

Complete shutdown of the system is achieved by moving switch A all the way to the right (fixed position AUS) or – when the vehicle is stationary – by turning off the ignition.
