Note: The handle is removed together with the lever boot and the center console trim.
1. Open the ashtray, pry the center console trim panel at the locations shown in the illustration and lift it up.

2. On models with a handle clamp, pull the lever boot up through the handle, loosen the clamp (see illustration) and remove the handle together with the dust cover.

3. On models with a handle lock, pull the lever boot up through the handle, release the lock (1 in the illustration) in the direction of the arrow and remove the handle together with the dust cover.

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of dismantling the components.
