2. Turn off all electrical equipment and remove the key from the ignition.
3. Disconnect the rubber seal from the bulkhead (arrow in illustration 5.2 Chapter 2) and remove the cover (1) of the gutter.
4. Give the nut (1 in illustration 10.4) a few turns and disconnect the ground wire from the negative terminal of the battery. Then loosen the nut (2) a few turns and disconnect the power wire from the positive terminal ("+") of the battery. Unscrew the bolt (4) on the holder (3).
5. Disconnect the ventilation hose from the battery (see illustration) and remove the battery with an upward movement.

6. Installation is performed in the reverse order of dismantling the components. When installing the battery, the central groove on its lower boss should be opposite the mounting hole in the holder.
