Note: When replacing lamps, follow the instructions given at the beginning Section 6.
1. To remove the fog light, first remove the front lower section of the engine compartment sound insulation, and on models with an intercooler, remove the front bumper trim (see Chapter 11). Unscrew the bolt (arrows in the illustration), disconnect the connector (2) and remove the fog lamp (1). Tighten the bolts to 6 Nm.

2. To remove the fog lamp bulb, first remove the front lower section of the engine compartment sound insulation. Disconnect the connector (2 in the illustration), turn the bulb (1) counterclockwise and pull it out of the headlight.

3. To remove the turn signal repeater, press it forward (see illustration) from the holder and bring it out, then disconnect the connector. Replace the lamp if necessary.

To remove the high-level brake light (2 in the illustration) on Sedan models, through the opening in the rear shelf accessible from the luggage compartment, disconnect the connector (1), press the latches (3) in the direction of the arrow and pull out the brake light. If the LEDs of the high brake light are faulty, replace it. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

To remove the high level brake light on Wagon models, remove the upper tailgate trim panel (see Chapter 11), insert a screwdriver (1 in the illustration) into the wiring hole and press the locking plate (2) to the right (arrow) by pressing the screwdriver to the left. Using a plastic wedge, press the brake light out of the tailgate from the outside, starting from the right side, then disconnect the connector and remove the brake light clips from the tailgate. If the LEDs of the high brake light are faulty, replace it.

6. To install the high level brake light on Station Wagon models, position the tabs so that the (2 in the illustration) with the slot facing the spring retainer (3). Make sure that the spring retainer hooks engage in the guides (5) on the housing. Install the retaining plate (1) on the brake light housing and lock it in the direction of the arrow. Then connect the wiring connector and press the brake light into the tailgate.

7. To remove the license plate light, remove the screw (arrow on the illustration) in the handle cover and pry up the diffuser. If necessary, replace the bulb (5 W). Rear combination lights of Sedan models.

9. To access the inner section, use a screwdriver to pry off the plug (1 in the illustration) from the luggage compartment and remove the plug.

10. To remove the inner section lamp, release the clamps (arrows in the illustration) and remove the socket (1), then unscrew the lamp from the socket.

11. To remove the inner section as an assembly, loosen the nut (Z in the illustration) and remove the holder (2). Press the inner section of the rear light outward (1 in the illustration) and remove it by disconnecting the connector.

12. The following describes the removal of the outer section of the rear light and its bulbs.
13. Fold back the marked area (2 in the illustration) luggage compartment trim forward, unscrew the bolt (1), tilt the light outward (arrow) and at the same time unhook its holders from the body.

14. Disconnect the connector on the cartridge, squeeze the clamps (arrows in the illustration) and remove the socket (1) from the lamp. If necessary, turn the bulbs and remove them from the socket.

Rear combination lights for Sedan models
15. The details of the installation of the rear combination lights are shown in the illustrations. Removal and installation of the lights and their parts is carried out in the same way as for the Sedan models (see subsection above).

Lighting fixtures in the cabin
16. To remove interior lighting fixtures (ceiling lights, footwell lighting, glove box, luggage compartment, vanity mirror) pry it up with a screwdriver, squeeze the diffuser out of the trim and disconnect the connector. Remove the lamp and replace it.
