Yaw and longitudinal acceleration sensor
1. Remove the console between the front seats (see Chapter 11). Sensor connector (3 in the illustration) is located under a thick bundle of electrical wiring
11.1. ESP sensor mounting parts
2. Disconnect the connector (arrow on the illustration) ESP sensor.
11.2. ESP sensor wiring connector
3. Give the nuts (2 in illustration 11.1) with caps, and remove the sensor. Do not drop the sensor or subject it to impact.
4. Installation is performed in the reverse order of component dismantling. Tighten the sensor mounting nuts with a force of 10 Nm.
Front ABS wheel sensor
Note: If it is necessary to replace the sensor rotor, the outer CV joint must be replaced (see Chapter 8).
5. Remove the corresponding front wheel and release the sensor wiring from the holders (1 in the illustration).
11.5. Holders (1) of the front wheel sensor
6. Release the sensor wiring from the holders (1 in the illustration) and disconnect the connector (2).
11.6. Sensor wiring connector
7. Release the seal (1 in the illustration) in the wheel arch, pull the sensor out of the wheel bearing holder and disconnect the connector.
11.7. Removing the front wheel sensor
8. Installation is performed in the reverse order of dismantling the components. After installation, make sure that the sensor wiring does not touch adjacent elements when turning the wheels.
Rear wheel ABS sensor
9. Remove the corresponding rear wheel and turn off the ignition.
10. Loosen the sensor mounting bolt, pull the sensor out of the wheel bearing holder, loosen the bolt (3 in the illustrations) and pull out the bracket.
11.10a. Fastening the rear wheel sensor of FWD models
11.10b. Rear wheel sensor fastener for AWD models
11. Unscrew the bolt (1 in the illustration), loosen the bolt (2) and pull out the bracket.
11.11. Bracket
12. Release the sensor wiring from the holders (see illustration).
11.12. Wiring Holder
13. Remove the body cover (see illustration), lift the back seat.
11.13. Rear bottom cover
14. Release the cable bracket, disconnect the connector (1 in the illustration) and squeeze out the seal.
11.14. Rear wheel sensor connector
15. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of dismantling the components.
