Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.
2. Remove the rear ashtray, refer to Section Removal and installation the ashtray.
3. Disconnect the ashtray light connector.
4. Remove the cover above the parking brake latch from the center console.
5. Push the bar (1) aside and disconnect the connector (2) of the switch (3).
6. Press the clip (4) out of the locking plate and remove the parking brake switch (3).
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
