Warning: If a new control unit is installed, it is necessary to pay attention to its exact correspondence to the vehicle model (spare parts catalog). If a new control unit is installed, it is necessary to perform basic adjustments at the service station using a diagnostic device.
Removal
1. Radio/navigation unit with large control field: Remove the radio/navigation unit, refer to Section Removal and installation radio/navigation device/CD changer.
2. Grasp the heater control unit from below (arrow on the accompanying illustration), release it from the four holders (A) and push it out of the center console.
3. Release the plug on the back of the heater control unit and remove it.
4. Loosen the mounting screws (C), slide the cover (B) to the right and remove the control unit (A).
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
