Replacement of the upper brake light (Audi A4 B6)

The upward-mounted brake light can be accessed from the trunk through a cutout under the shelf near the rear window.

1. Dismantling: On lamp 2, disconnect connector 1.



2. Remove the clips in the direction of the arrow.

3. Pull the upper brake light out of the cutout and downwards.

4. In case of LED failure, the upper brake light is replaced as a set.

5. Installation of the upward-mounted brake signal is carried out in the reverse order.
