Switch in the center console (Audi A4 B6)

This console, which is located under the middle air outlets in the Audi A4, contains several switches, including those for the hazard warning lights. They are all removed and installed in the same way. A special tool is required for proper removal: the 3370 front end hook.

1. Removal: Open the glove compartment. Using special tool 3370, carefully pull out the plug 1 (arrow) to the rear.



2. Using a flat-head screwdriver, carefully remove the corresponding switch (arrows) from the hole.



3. Remove the connector.

4. Installation: Connect the connector, install the switch in the reverse order of dismantling.

5. To do this, press the switch into the panel, and the spring latch should engage.

6. Install the plug.
