Removal
Remove the center console. Open the front ashtray and remove the protective frame 2 (fig. 12.77) with six mounting clamps, starting from the bottom.

Remove the radio.
Remove the air conditioner or heater control panel.
Remove the front ashtray. Remove the control strip cover 5 (fig. 12.77) with four mounting clamps 4.
Unscrew four bolts 6 (fig. 12.77).
Remove plug 7 (fig. 12.77). Remove the side protective cover and unscrew the nut 8 (fig. 12.77).
Pull the driver's side center console off the mounting bolts and remove it with a downward motion.
Installation
Insert the middle console from below, using the mounting brackets 9 (fig. 12.77) are secured to the mounting clamps. From the side, place the console onto the mounting bolts.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
