Removal
Remove the rear ventilation grille A from the center console by moving it downwards (see fig. 12.74). To do this, remove the four wire clips.
Disconnect the electrical connector for the cigarette lighter, rear vent lighting and rear seat heater.
Pull out the connecting element B (fig. 12.74) from the air channel S.
If present, remove the center armrest.
Unscrew nut 3 (fig. 12.73).

Remove cover 2 (fig. 12.73).
Loosen bolt 8 (fig. 12.73).
Manual gearbox. Unscrew the handle from the gearshift lever and remove the cuff 5 by moving it upwards (fig. 12.73).
Automatic transmission. Place the gearshift lever in the down position.
Remove the center console insert by pulling it upwards.
Unscrew two bolts 7 (fig. 12.73).
Remove the parking brake lever cover.
Remove the center console 1 by moving it upwards (fig. 12.73) and disconnect the electrical connector from the automatic mirror adjustment switch.
Apply the parking brake fully.
Remove the rocker trim 10 (fig. 12.73) from the locking protrusion 11.
Lift the center console over the anchor bolt 12 (fig. 12.73) and pull down.
Remove the center console via the handbrake lever.
Installation
Place the center console on the front of the parking brake lever, making sure the air ducts are seated correctly.
Hang the swing panel 10 (fig. 12.73) onto the locking protrusion 11.
Connect the electrical connector to the automatic mirror adjustment switch.
Install the parking brake lever trim.
Secure the center console with bolts.
Secure the gear shift knob insert.
Manual transmission: Insert the gear shift boot and screw the knob onto the gear shift lever.
Place the lid in the small item shelf.
Insert the connector for the lower air duct.
Connect the electrical connectors to the cigarette lighter, air vent lighting and rear seat heating.
Insert the rear ventilation grille into the hole.
If the middle armrest has been removed, reinstall it.
