Removal



To remove the interior rearview mirror, tilt it downwards, in the direction of the arrow, away from the base of the holder. The clamp spring retainers come out of the slots.

Installation


Place mirror 1 (fig. 12.69), rotated by 60°-90°, to the installation location, arrow A and turn, arrows B, until the locking springs enter the grooves. Depending on the design, it is necessary to press the mirror glass away from the spherical head. To press, a stronger force is required so that the clamping springs enter the grooves of the spherical head.

Remove the electrical connector clamp cover.

Remove the electrical connector from the clamp and disconnect it. When installing the mirror, do not use the clamp cover to rotate the mirror.
