Removal
Open the ashtray.
Detach the protective frame 2 (fig. 12.77) from six mounting clamps, starting from the bottom.

Pull the center console insert 2 upwards to release it (fig. 12.79), see also position 6 in Fig. 12.73.
Unscrew two bolts 1 (fig. 12.79).
Pull it out with a screwdriver 2 (fig. 12.80) retaining strips 1 on the left and right in the direction of the arrow.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the cigarette lighter and ashtray light.
Installation
Connect the electrical connectors to the cigarette lighter and ashtray light.
Insert the ashtray, making sure that the guide 1 (fig. 12.81) left and right snapped into the center console.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
