Table of contents: Knock sensor ↓ Hall sensor (aDP engine) ↓
1. Most of the sensors of the control system are designed to control the operation of both the ignition system and the fuel injection system. Specific sensors of the ignition system are described in this paragraph.
2. Dual-purpose sensors - see chapter 4A. These are the air flow sensor, throttle potentiometer, intake air temperature sensor, throttle actuator, vehicle speed sensor, coolant sensor, engine speed sensor and Hall sensor.
Knock sensor
Removal
3. The sensor is installed in the left rear part of the cylinder block. On ADR, AEB, AFY and AJL engines, two sensors are installed one after the other.
4. Disconnect the wiring connector.
5. Unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the sensor (Fig. 6.5).

Installation
6. Installation is the reverse procedure, however, if the sensor mounting bolt is not tightened to the specified torque, the sensor will not work effectively.
Hall sensor (aDP engine)
7. The sensor is built into the distributor, it can be removed and installed separately, however, a special tool is required to disassemble the distributor. Entrust this work to a specialist.
