2. Dual purpose sensors - see chapter 4A. These are the air flow sensor, throttle potentiometer, intake air temperature sensor, throttle actuator, vehicle speed sensor, coolant sensor, engine speed sensor and Hall sensor.
Knock sensor
Withdrawal
3. The sensor is installed in the left rear of the cylinder block. ADR, AEB, AFY and AJL engines have two sensors installed one after the other.
4. Disconnect the wiring connector.
5. Turn away a bolt of fastening and remove the gauge (pic. 6.5).
Installation
6. Installation is the reverse procedure, however, if the transducer mounting bolt is not tightened to the specified torque, the transducer will not function effectively.
Hall Sensor (ADP engine)
7. The sensor is built into the distributor, it can be removed and installed separately, however, a special tool is required to disassemble the distributor. Entrust this work to a specialist.
