Fuel knock sensor
Removal
1. Remove the protective screen from the bottom of the engine.
2. Disconnect the sensor connection connector.
3. Loosen the mounting bolt (arrow) and remove the sensor.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Hall sensor (ADR engines with Motronic 3.2 system
Removal
1. Remove the outer timing belt cover.
2. Disconnect the sensor connection connector.
3. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the sensor.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Hall sensor (except ADR engines)
On these models, the Hall sensor is part of the ignition distributor and cannot be replaced.
