Location of ignition coil terminals (on the AAR engine similarly)
Malfunctions in the ignition system are most often caused by unreliable wire connections or short circuits, and not by failure of system elements.
If a malfunction is detected, first of all, check the connecting wires and spark plugs. For a complete check of the ignition system, it is necessary to contact specialists.
If a misfire occurs, check the ignition coil, distributor cap, ember, runner, and high voltage wires.
To check the primary winding of the ignition coil, check the resistance between terminals 1 and 15 of the connection connector. To check the secondary winding - check the resistance between terminal 1 and the high voltage wire terminal.
