ADR engine
The ignition timing angle is controlled by the electronic control unit and is not adjustable.
AAE, ABK, AAD and AAR engines
1. Warm up the engine.
2. Connect the strobe light.
3. Turn off all electrical equipment and start the engine.
4. Check that the corresponding mark on the flywheel is in line with the lower edge of the timing window.
5. To make adjustments, turn the distributor as necessary.
