Petrol models
A) DO NOT use leaded gasoline in vehicles equipped with a catalytic converter - lead coats rare earth metals, damaging the catalytic converter.
b) Keep the injection and ignition system in good condition, in accordance with the maintenance schedule prescribed by the manufacturer.
V) If the engine has misfiring cylinders, do not operate the vehicle (or reduce this operation to a minimum) - until the problem is fixed.
G) DO NOT start the engine from a tow - unburned fuel will wet the converter, after starting the catalyst may overheat.
d) DO NOT switch off the ignition at high engine speeds.
e) The converter on a serviceable car lasts up to 150,000 km - if it has lost efficiency, replace it.
Diesel models
