By pressing the fastening lug (2), the socket (1) of the rear light bulb can be removed.

All the bulbs of the rear light are located on a common board. 1 - fog light bulb; 2 – reverse light; 3 – rear light and brake light lamp; 4 – direction indicator lamp.

The switch (2) for the reversing lights is located on the upper side of the manual gearbox and is held in place by a cover (1).

With a 4-speed automatic transmission (dismantled here) the reversing light switch is combined with the multi-function switch (2). In addition, you can see the plug connector of the gearbox speed sensor (1).
Replacing lamps
1. Unscrew the mounting plugs and fold aside the trunk trim behind the rear lights.
2. Press the mounting tabs of the lamp holder and remove the holder.
3. When replacing incandescent bulbs, press them lightly into the socket, turn to the left and remove.
Dismantling
1. Remove the lamp holder.
2. Fold back the trunk trim in the area of the rear lights.
3. Unscrew the four hex nuts on the luggage rack.
4. Remove the lamp housing from the outside. If the housing is still firmly glued to the body due to the sealing cord, it must be pressed away from the body with a screwdriver wrapped in a rag.
5. Check the sealing cord when installing! There is a risk of water penetration into the trunk.
Tip: After removing the lamp housing, you can press the fastening clips to remove the diaphragm under the rear light.
