Additional installation of fog lights
The additionally purchased fog lights do not look very good on the smooth body of the Audi and are almost not installed securely in the right place. Therefore, it is necessary to take the original version and completely replace the headlights with the same ones, but with integrated high beam headlights and fog lights (parts No.8D0941 029B and 8D0941 030B). Additionally, you need a fog light relay (part # 431 951 253G) and an original switch for the dashboard (parts No.4D0941 535). Then you need a housing for the connector (part # 893971972).
1. Remove the blind plug in the instrument panel (next to the fog light switch), and also remove the rear fog light switch itself.
2. Remove the receiving pocket on the left under the dashboard.
3. According to the electrical diagram in the chapter Electrical equipment prepare a set of wires with connector housings that match the original wiring.
4. Install headlights with integrated fog lights, connect the connectors.
5. On the relay support under the central switching unit on the left under the instrument panel, replace the wire jumper in socket 10 with the fog lamp relay.
6. Connect the fog light connectors (chapter Tools and instruments).
7. Turn on, when turning on, simultaneously check the operation of the parking lights, low beam and high beam headlights.
