This indicator light monitors the airbag and the seat belt tensioner in the front seats. To perform a functional check, it lights for about 10 seconds after the ignition is turned on. If not, replace the light (see the beginning of the chapter in the section Combination device). When the engine is running, the indicator should go out.
There is a malfunction if the light flashes while driving, if it does not go out after starting the engine, and also if it does not light at all.
