In cars with electronic wheel slip control, this light comes on briefly when the ignition is turned on and then goes out. The light flashes while driving if the system is adjusting, i.e. eliminating wheel slip.
When the system is on, the light is constantly on, as well as when there is a fault in the system. However, it lights up in addition to the ABS light if there is a fault in the ABS system.
