Instrument panel — removal and installation (Audi 80 B3)

1. Guided by Chapter 3, paragraph 2, disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the steering wheel (Section 10).

3. Remove the cover or combination switch from the steering column.

4. Remove the two mounting screws from the base of the instrument panel (photo).



5. Cover the steering column with a cloth to avoid scratching the instrument panel.

6. Lift the base of the instrument panel and tilt it back. Remove the unit, disconnect the multi-pin electrical wiring plugs (photo).







7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
