Removal the oil pump (Audi Q5-8R)

Remove the oil pan. Remove the retaining ring "1" using a collet for retaining rings. Screw in the M3 bolt "2" and remove the drive shaft from the oil pump "arrow". Unscrew the bolt "4" and remove the suction pipe from the oil pump. Unscrew the bolts "3" and "5" and remove the oil pump. It is prohibited to loosen the intermediate gear bolt.

Install

Installation in reverse order. Replace the sealing ring. A damaged or overtightened retaining ring must be replaced. The retaining ring must fit at the base of the groove. Before installing the oil pump, check that both mounting bushings are present. Install the oil pan.
