Switching unit in engine compartment, distributor, battery fuse block
I 1. Splitter 2 cl. 30 "TV22" (on vehicles with high-voltage systems); 2. Right door separator plug; 3. Fuse blocks. Used in fuse block F "SF"; 4. Nut.3 Nm; 5. Fuse block F "SF" on the right in the trunk; 6. Fuse block A "SA" in the trunk on the battery (on vehicles with high-voltage systems); 7. Left door separator plug; 8. Fuse block B "SB". Relay block and fuse block in the switching block of the engine compartment with interference suppression capacitor "024"; 9. Facing of the switching unit in the engine compartment; 10. Tightening torque of the cover of the switching unit of the engine compartment
- 1/2/4. Bolt. 3.5 Nm
- 3. Cover for the switching unit of the motor compartment
- 5. Nut. 9 Nm
Tightening torque of the switching unit of the motor compartment
Tighten the bolts "arrows" of the switching unit of engine compartment "1" with a torque of 4.5 N·m.

Removal the electrical box in the engine compartment
Disconnect the ground wire from the battery with the ignition off. Remove the filler pipe for the windshield washer reservoir. Remove the windshield wiper motor. Unscrew bolts "1, 2,4" and remove cover "3" of the switching unit of the engine compartment - arrow
"Pos. 5" do not take into account. Unlock the "arrow A" fasteners and remove the engine control unit "arrow B".
If available, disconnect the electrical connector "2". Disconnect connectors "4" and unscrew the electrical wire "3". Unlock the "arrow" latches and remove the fuse block "SB" "pos. 1". Release and remove the engine wiring harness in the electrical box.
If equipped, remove the horn of the anti-theft alarm "H12" and lay the cable harness loosely. Unscrew the bolts "arrows". Disconnect the connector "1" for the low brake fluid warning sensor "F34". Remove the wiring harness "2" of the engine compartment switching unit. Remove the engine compartment switching unit "3" in an upward direction.
Installation
Installation in reverse order: install fuse block B "SB". Install the sound signal of the anti-theft alarm "H12". Connect the battery. Install the windshield wiper motor. Install the filler pipe for the windshield washer reservoir.
Removal the interference suppression capacitor "C24"
Remove fuse block B "SB" in the engine compartment junction box. Do not disconnect the connectors. Disconnect the binder "2". Disconnect the electrical plug connection "1". Remove the radio interference suppression capacitor "C24" "pos. 3".
Installation
Reverse installation: When reinstalling, install all cable ties in the places where they were originally installed. Install fuse block B "SB" in the switching block of the engine compartment.
