Relay box, fuse box in the trunk 1. Central control unit for comfort systems "J393"; 2/11/13/15. Nut. 3 Nm; 3. Mounting frame for the center, used Komfort system "J393"; 4. Used parking assistant "J446"; 5. Mounting frame for control units; 6. Used special vehicles "J608" on the left in the trunk; 7. Used electromechanical parking brake "J540"; 8. Removal of the center, used comfort system "J393"



When replacing a used vehicle, select the "Replace" function of the corresponding used vehicle in the "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" mode. Select the function or path: Vehicle brand - Engine code - 46 Comfort system central control unit, functions - 46 Replacement of used vehicle. Follow the further instructions on the display of the diagnostic tester. Switch off the ignition. Open the right side trim of the trunk. Disconnect the clamps "arrows" and remove the comfort system central control unit "J393" "pos. 4" from the mounting frame. Carefully disconnect connectors "1" and "3" and the antenna connector "7". Disconnect the electrical plug connections "2,5,6".

To disconnect the electrical plug connection, press the lock "1", turn the locking bracket in the "direction of the arrow" and disconnect the plug connection. Remove the central control unit of the Comfort system "J393".

Installation



Installation in reverse order: follow the further instructions on the tester display for the new convenience system central control unit "J393".

Removal the fuse block F "SF" in the trunk on the right



Disconnect the ground wire from the battery with the ignition off. Open the right side trim of the trunk. Unlock clamps "3" in the "direction of the arrow" and push fuse blocks "2" back out of the fuse block F "SF". Unscrew nut "4". Remove fuse block F -SF "pos. 1" from the body. Disconnect the fuse block from the relay block. Remove relay "5" and control units.
