Fuse box in the engine compartment junction box (Audi Q5-8R)

Fuse block B "SB" in the engine compartment junction box

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery with the ignition off. Remove the filler pipe for the windshield washer reservoir. Unscrew bolts "1,2,4" and remove cover "3" of the switching unit of the engine compartment "arrow".

"Pos. 5" do not take into account. Unlock the "arrow A" fasteners and remove the engine control unit "arrow B".

If available, disconnect the electrical connector "2". Disconnect connectors "4" and unscrew the electrical wire "3". Unlock the "arrow" latches and remove the fuse block "SB" "pos. 1". Release and remove the engine wiring harness in the electrical box.

Unscrew the electrical line "5". Remove the relay "3" and control units "4" from the fuse block "SB". Unlock the clamp "arrow", push the fuse block "2" back and remove. Unlock the clamp and push back the additional fuse block "1".

Unlock the "arrow" clamps and push the relay block "2" back out of the holder. Remove the fuse block B "SB" from the switching unit of the engine compartment.

Installation

Installation in reverse order: install the filler pipe for the windshield washer reservoir. Connect the battery.

Fuse block in the switching unit of the engine compartment

Remove fuse block B "SB". Relay block "3" and "4" and fuse "1" remain fixed. Wire "5" remains connected.

Unlock the "arrow" clamp, push the fuse block "2" back and remove. Remove the fuses from the block. Unlock the "arrow" latches and remove the fuse block cover.

Remove the locking strips "1" of the plug connections "arrow" and remove the plug connections from the contact block.

The exact location of the fuse block contacts in the engine compartment switching unit is indicated on the current electrical circuit diagram of the electrical equipment.

Installation

Installation in reverse order: install fuse block B "SB".

Removal the splitter 2 cl. 30 "TV22"

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery with the ignition off, vehicles with a high-voltage system. Remove the seal "3". Disconnect the clips "1" from the fasteners and remove the water drainage box casing "2".

Unlock the lock "arrow A" and remove the cover "arrow B".

Unscrew the electrical wires "1...6" and "9, 10". Unscrew the bolt "8" and remove the 2nd class 30 "TV22" branch from the tensioner.

"Pos. 7" should not be taken into account.

Installation in reverse order.

Disconnecting the door divider connector

Switch off the ignition. Unlock the connector lock in the direction of arrow "A" and pull out the door separating connector "1" "arrow B".

Removal fuse block A "SA" in the trunk

Turn off ignition. Remove trunk floor "3". If present, remove Bassbox "2". Bend back floor covering "1" over cover.

Unlock the "arrow" latches and open cover "1".

Open cover "1" above the negative terminal of the battery. Loosen the nut a few turns and remove the pole tip "arrow" of the ground wire from the battery terminal.

Loosen nut "1" a few turns and disconnect the terminal of the terminal with fuse holder A "SA" from the pole terminal. Unlock spring lock "3" and open cover "2" above fuse block A "SA" "arrow".
