Located in the driver's side footwell. Before troubleshooting, you should find out the exact cause in the Guided Fault Finding modes.

Automatic transmission control unit "J217"



The automatic transmission control unit "J217" is mounted in the rear part of the transmission, directly on the hydraulic control unit. The following components are integrated into the automatic transmission control unit "J217".

1. Connector to the hydraulic control unit, on the solenoid valve 1 «N88».

2. Connector to the hydraulic control unit, on the solenoid valve 2 of the automatic transmission "N216".
3. Connector to the hydraulic control unit, on the solenoid valve 1 of the automatic transmission "N215".
4. Gearbox input speed sensor "G182" and Gearbox input speed sensor 2 "G612".
5. Hydraulic system pressure sensor 1 for automatic transmission "G193".
6. Multifunctional switch "F125".
7. Hydraulic system pressure sensor 2 for automatic transmission "G194".
8. Secondary shaft speed sensor, gearbox "G195".




Note: The automatic transmission control unit "J217" is monitored by a self-diagnosis system.


Hydraulic control unit



Screwed to the rear. on the gearbox side. The automatic transmission control unit "J217" is bolted directly to the hydraulic control unit.

A. Electrical plug connection of solenoid valve 1 «N88».

B. Electrical plug connection of pressure reducing valve 2 of automatic transmission "N216".
C. Electrical plug connection of pressure reducing valve 1 of automatic transmission "N215".

As a single block, "2" are fixed with "arrow" clamps on the functional block of the gear shift mechanism.

Selector lock solenoid "N110"

The automatic transmission selector lock magnet "N110" "Pos. 1" is fixed with clamps on the gear shift mechanism.



Selector position switch P "F305"

Installation location: The selector position switch "F305", consisting of two reed switches "1" and "2", is installed on the "B" board of the automatic transmission selector lock solenoid "N110" "A". The selector position switch "F305" can only be replaced together with the automatic transmission selector lock solenoid "N110".

Kickdown switch "F8"



The engine control unit stores a specific value from the accelerator pedal position sensor "G79" and the accelerator pedal position sensor 2 "G185".

The accelerator pedal position sensors are integrated into the "Arrow" accelerator pedal module. If the accelerator pedal position sensor fails, the accelerator pedal module must be replaced.
