Exhaust gas recirculation system
1. Gasket: replace.
2. Bolt: 9 Nm.
3. EGR pipe.
4. Bolt: 9 Nm.
5. Gasket: replace.
6. Bolt: 9 Nm.
7. Cooling system hose.
8. Radiator system. eGR: with built-in electric motor system. exhaust gas recirculation "V338" with system potentiometer. eGR "G212": check switching.
9. Cooling system hose.
10. Bolt: 9 Nm.
11. Bolt: 23 Nm.
12. Gaskets: replace.
13. Exhaust gas recirculation pipe.
14. Bolt: lubricate the threads with heat-resistant paste; 23 Nm.
Removal and installation the EGR radiator
Remove the engine cover "arrows". Drain the coolant. Remove the front wall of the water deflector box. Remove the air casing. filter.
Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose "2" by pressing the release buttons. Remove the air duct hose by loosening the hose clamp "1".
Remove the bolt and nut "arrows". Remove the coolant hose by loosening the hose clamp "3". Ignore "Pos. 1, 2".
Unscrew bolts "2" of the system pipe. eGR. "Pos. 1" should not be taken into account.
Unscrew bolts "1" of the system pipe. eGR. "Pos. 2" should not be taken into account.
Disconnect plug connections "2, 3, 4" and release the wires. Remove and release vacuum hose "1".
Remove the coolant hose by loosening the hose clamp "2". Unscrew the bolts "1, 3", remove the system radiator. exhaust gas recirculation.
Installation
Installation in reverse order. Replace gaskets and seals. ring. Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the appropriate series. Connect the air duct hoses using threaded clamps. Install the front wall of the water drainage box. Install the air casing. filter. Fill with coolant.
