Exhaust system — diesel particulate filter and exhaust manifold (Audi A4 B8)

Removal and installation the diesel particulate filter

Remove the exhaust pipe. Unscrew the exhaust gas temperature sensor 4 "G648" "pos. 1". Remove the right rear coolant pipe. Remove the system radiator. eGR. Remove the turbocharger. Remove the oil pressure sensor "F1".



Unscrew bolts "2", remove the system tube. eGR. "Pos. 1" should not be taken into account.



Disconnect plug connection "3". Unscrew nut "1" and bolt "2", press the coolant pipe to the side. "Arrows" should not be taken into account. Remove the diesel particulate filter upwards.

Installation

Installation in reverse order. Replace gaskets and nuts. Tighten the rear coolant pipe bolts. Install the system pipe. eGR. Install the "F1" oil pressure sensor. Install the turbocharger. Install the system radiator. eGR. Install the exhaust system. without stress. After replacing the diesel particulate filter, perform the Adaptation function in the Guided functions mode.

Removal and installation the exhaust manifold

Remove the turbocharger. Disconnect plug connection "3" of differential pressure sensor "G505". Unscrew bolt "2" and release hoses "1" from the holder. Place the differential pressure sensor "G505" back.



Remove from the holder and disconnect the plug connections.



Put the diesel particulate filter back. "Pos. 1, 2" do not take into account. Unscrew bolts "1" of the fastening clamp of the oil supply line. "Pos. 2" should not be taken into account.



Unscrew bolts "2", remove the system tube. exhaust gas recirculation.





Unscrew the arrow nuts and remove the heat-insulating shield.



Unscrew the "arrow" nuts.



Remove the exhaust manifold.

Installation

Installation in reverse order. Replace gaskets and nuts. Install the differential pressure sensor "G505". Install the turbocharger. Electrical connections and wiring.
